Yayoi Kusama
Exhibition
UX/UI design
Project Overview
An extensive retrospective of renowned Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama will be exhibited in Tel Aviv Museum of Art in November 2021, featuring some 200 works of one of the world's most popular artists.
After I became acquainted with this artist and fell in love with her work, during my UX UI Course a few months before the exhibit arrived at the Tel Aviv Museum, I designed this exhibition page.
My Role In This Project

Research
My competitor research focused on museums and landing pages of artists' exhibitions in the country
As well as globally, to understand what information is necessary for the exhibition and to draw inspiration

Goals
My goal was to create a design concept that conveyed the atmosphere of the artist's works. To invite to the exhibition in the museum and increase ticket sales due to the possibility of purchasing them online.
User (Proto Persona)
Keren Tal, 30
Marriage,
Photographer
Motivation
As an art photographer, Keren values inspiration and learning about art styles that enrich her artwork.
By collaborating with other curators and artists, she has the opportunity to present her exhibitions and collaborate on her art
Pain Points
Keren is very busy and is always looking for quick and available solutions to buy tickets for events she wants to attend.
she attends events and exhibitions and then discovers that the publicity does not reflect reality and is very disappointed.

Design
For the exhibition, I designed an easy-to-use, inviting user experience using page structure, content hierarchy, and UI elements.
01
Information -My first stage was to provide information about the artist and a biographical background that connected people to her unique life story, and her artwork.
03
Hierarchy - The landing page has a top navigation bar.
To get the users' attention and make it easy to buy a ticket, I put the "buy ticket" button at the top of the page
My next step was to add categories such as about, details, gallery, and visitors reviews so that users would be more likely to come to the exhibition.
02
Stand out design -The page was created and branded with elements drawn from nature, amorphous elements from her works.
Colors, textures, and typography all combine to make the landing page stand out.
04
Images -Images and backgrounds for the landing page were inspired by the Yayoi artistic style.
Wireframes
My goal was to provide design solutions for the pain points uncovered in the initial research. The wireframes creation was necessary to be able to lay out all the information into the product's interface to reveal the visual hierarchies and structure of the screens.
